Description
The Kalimba, as a musical instrument, originates from East Africa. This large Kalimba was handcrafted in traditional artisan workshops in the Maasai region around Mount Kilimanjaro.
This instrument features 45 resonant tines with tin resonators. Since the resonant tines are made by hand, using the traditional method of hammering metal wires, as originally done in Africa, the instrument delivers an authentic ethnic sound that cannot be compared to machine-made Kalimbas from China or Germany.
Dimensions: 33 x 33 x 6 cm.
The Kalimba also features a goat leather strap.
